I'm pretty sure you're all wondering... well, who is he?...
Let told you a little bit about Jamie:
Jamie was born 14th May 1979 in Wythenshawe, Manchester. He grew up on the Newell Green estate with his mum Kath and two older brothers John and Jason. Originally Donnelly, he changed his name to Draven when he began acting due to the actress Jamie Donnelly who found fame playing Jan in the hit movie Grease! According to an Ultimate Force episode he is around 5'10" in height and takes a size 8 shoe!
His brother John has had guest appearances in Coronation Street, The Cops, Cold Feet, The Tavern, Clocking Off, Linda Green, Mersey Beat, Red Cap and Shameless. His other brother Jason works for utility company NorWeb.
Being a reported Manchester United fan, Jamie originally wanted to be a footballer, but luckily for us he turned his attention to acting at around the age of 16. Jamie actually failed his GCSE's first time around but passed in his retakes and went on to start studying for his A-Levels. At last, it seems this choice wasn't for him and he decided to move to London to pursue a career in acting.
Having arrived in London with no formal acting training and no CV, Jamie managed to get a part in the ITV mini-drama The Butterfly Collectors(1999) as Dex Lister. He was 19 and only had a couple of bit-part appearances under his belt at the time having played Boy One in a 1998 episode of The Bill. He hasn't looked back since!
Jamie's career has gone from strength to strength, seeing him progress into the hit film Billy Elliot (200)as Billy's older brother Tony. From there he showed us his sinister side as D.S Jez Clifton in Messiah(2001), another BBC hit, before taking a part in Ultimate Force(2002-2003) as Cpl Jamie Dow. Jamie threw his all into playing the high drama SAS Corporal and stayed on our screens for two series before deciding to move on to pastures new.
From Ultimate Force Jamie took the leap of faith into the world of romantic comedies, starring as James Wearing in ITV 1's adaptation of the Marian Keyes novel, Watermelon(2003). Jamie then took a break before reappearing as Gary Andrews in Faith(2005), another BBC drama, before finally appearing back on our ITV 1 screens as police officer Andrew Stadden in an adaptation of the novel Beneath The Skin(2006).
You can currently see him in the movie Badland (2007) and Jetsam(2007). He also starred the 3-part ITV1 drama series Mobile during March 2007.

Jamie is a fantastic method actor who seems to be able to turn any character on a page to an interesting and highly watchable figure.
